With the Hour Cost entries App, you can automatically create financial cost entries for Project hour entries (Work in Progress / Invoices to be received). This App is an extension to the standard functionality of Exact Online, in which only Sales entries can be created in your financial administration.

The amount of the financial transaction is determined by multiplying the internal rate of the employee (on the hour entry date) by the number of hours. After approving a time entry, a financial entrie is created. Beside creating Work in Process entries for your own employees, you can also use the App with hired staff to create a Cost / Invoices to be received entry.

Extended settings!

In the App settings you can:
• set the date from which financial transactions have to be created,
• set if Cost Units or Cost Centers should be added to the financial entry. And if so, what should be the basis for doing so (Employee department or number, item code or item group code).
• per employee type determine, whether an entry must be created or not and if so, which G/L accounts should be used.
• set the General Journal in which the entries must be made.
